Reminiscent of many of Triple A's favorites in the early-'90s, Feathermerchants brings the format a deep, sad song that is brightened by the intricate arrangements and expert musicianship that permeate the entire album. After establishing a reputation with their first independent release, the band added vocalist Shannon Kennedy for this second album, giving the band's sound new depth and breadth. The guitar playing is subtle yet entrancing, the vocals compelling and song provocative - a perfect recipe for Triple A. -FMQB 5/16/2003
