FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

SETH YACOVONE BAND MAPS FIRST MAJOR ASSAULT ON THE SOUTH TO PREVIEW LONG-AWAITED CD, IN A MOMENT

Live Album due Sept. 12 on Furry Thug Records

JACKSON, NJ -- The SETH YACOVONE BAND is ending the summer with its first major tour of the South in anticipation of its long awaited new CD in the fall. The monthlong assault will find the blazing, young Burlington, VT power-rock trio visiting Florida, Georgia, North and South Carolina en route to the Sept. 12 release of the self-released, IN A MOMENT.

The band has recently signed with Degy Booking International. CD release parties are scheduled throughout the Northeast in September, and the band will be touring behind the new album for the entire month of October east of the Mississippi.

IN A MOMENT was recorded live at the Stone Church in Newmarket, NH, and the world-famous Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ. The live album -- like the shows on this tour -- will once again bear witness that 23-year-old Seth Yacovone is one of the most exciting and important young artists working today.

The Patriot-Ledger of Quincy (MA) marveled at the SETH YACOVONE BAND's ability to surprise audiences by transforming itself from "a topnotch blues band one moment, a refreshingly vibrant jam band the next moment, a gritty rock band after that, and then a sizzling jazz combo. No preconceptions allowed."

After spreading its attack this spring at several prestigious outdoor music festivals, including the All Good Music Festival and Campout in Masontown, WV, and Camp Creek in Mariahville, NY, the SETH YACOVONE BAND -- also bassist Tom Coggio and drummer Steve Hadeka -- continues to gather renewed praise in music magazines in the U.S. and abroad for its explosive blues-rooted sound sparked by Seth's spectacular guitar work.
