This 2 CD set benefits the search for new therapies to treat the awful
scourge of Parkinson’s Disease. The 38 contributing artists are an
intriguing blend of well known (Bonnie Raitt, David Crosby & Graham Nash,
Steve Forbert) to obscure (Ana Egge, Utah Carol) with all shades of in
between. Many of the best songs here are right on point: Dave Alvin’s
harrowing "The Man In The Bed," Tom Russell’s "Muhammad Ali," Lucy
Kaplansky’s "Song for Molly." Delightful listening experience that helps
a most worthy cause. --MT
