TO BLITZ NATION WITH 'GIFT OF ROCK'
ON MAJOR SUMMER U.S. TOUR
CROSS-COUNTRY TREK IS BIGGEST EVER
FOR TREMENDOUSLY TALENTED TEENS
FROM PAUL GREEN SCHOOL OF ROCK BRANCHES
EXPANDING COAST-TO-COAST
Tour launches with 2 nights in Los Angeles;
Lollapalooza among 2 Chicago stops
Someday, you can say you saw them way back when. - New York Post
PHILADELPHIA - The SCHOOL OF ROCK ALL-STARS> are poised to dazzle their largest national audience yet with thrilling displays of technical mastery and showmanship, classic rock style, on an expanded U.S. summer tour.
Indeed, school's out for summer and boot camp is in for these tremendously talented teen players (13-17) -- the best and brightest students from the more than 20 national branches around the country of the Paul Green School of Rock - as they embark on a 23-city tour in which they'll criss-cross the country to deliver "the gift of rock" to many cities where School of Rock branches exist and others are due to open.
In the six months since their last major outing, the SCHOOL OF ROCK ALL-STARS have shared some of the nation's top rock stages with
"Guest Professors" such as Peter Frampton, Adrian Belew and John Wetton (Asia), and continued to astound capacity crowds of all ages wherever they play, serving up the greatest classic rock hits from Zeppelin to Zappa with an undeniable proficiency well beyond their years. Their "jaw-dropping performances" (SF Weekly) will be seen at a number of the nation's top rock stages this summer as well, from their debut at Lollapalooza in Chicago to the House of Blues in Anaheim and Cleveland.
The tour kicks off in grand style with a 2-night stay in Los Angeles, July 28 at the Knitting Factory in Hollywood (near the recently opened Hollywood branch), and July 29 at Canyon Club in nearby Agoura Hills, where a new branch is scheduled to open the following week.

Expansions into nearly a dozen more major markets and their surrounding areas are on the immediate horizon. In 2006, the PAUL GREEN SCHOOL OF ROCK MUSIC will present over 400 concerts nationwide, including performances in such prestigious venues as the House of Blues and the Knitting Factory. A respected force among professional musicians, the School of Rock boasts associations with a growing cadre of rock legends, including Ian Gillian of Deep Purple, Ann Wilson of Heart, Stewart Copeland of the Police, Jon Anderson of Yes, Marky Ramone of the Ramones, Adrian Belew and John Wetton of King Crimson, Alice Cooper and numerous members of Frank Zappa's classically grounded groups.
